Bacon Cheeseburger Meatloaf

I guess you are looking for a tasty meatloaf recipe!!!

Bacon, lean ground beef and shredded cheese.
You can use a wooden spoon or a stand mixer to blend the ingredient's together...but don't over mix.
I'm using a tablespoon of ketchup and mustard to give this meatloaf a taste of toppings on your cheeseburger...
Two eggs cracked in a separate bowl to check and whisk until blended, toss in with other ingredient's.
You will need a meatloaf pan https://kit.co/bonitaskitchen/kitchen-essentials/taylor-chicago-metal or pan of choice! You can also line the pan with parchment paper to serve as a lift to remove your meatloaf when cooked.
Preheat oven to 350ºF and cook the meatloaf for 50 minutes then remove from the oven and top with shredded cheese. Then put it back into the oven for another 10 minutes to meal and brown off cheese.

Ingredients
- Lean ground beef - 2 pounds
- Stale Bread Crumbs - 1 cup
- Black or White Pepper - 1 tsp
- Shredded Cheese - 1½ cups
- Onion - 1 small, grated
- Onion Powder - 1 tsp
- Eggs - 2 large
- Bacon - 6 strips
- Rosemary - ½ tsp
- Sea salt - ½ tsp
- Ketchup - 1 tbsp
- Mustard - 1 tbsp
Instructions
In a bowl add lean ground beef, stale bread crumbs, pepper, grated onion, onion powder
and ground rosemary.
Mix by hand with a wooden spoon or pulse your mixer not to over mix for a few minutes.
You will need a meatloaf pan or pan with a piece of parchment paper to line the bottom and up the side.
Add ¾ meat mixture to the pan, then make a well for the filling…when pressing the meat in the pan go up the sides. Fill the centre with one cup of shredded cheese. Top with the remainder of the meat mixture, pressing sides together to seal edges.
Layer bacon strips on top of meatloaf.
Preheat your oven to 350ºF and bake for 50 minutes. Remove meatloaf from oven layer the remainder of cheese over top and return the meatloaf to the oven for 10 minutes or 145ºf on your cooking thermometer.
When ready remove from oven after the 10 minutes and if you got a meatloaf pan remove from the sides or if you are using parchment paper left from the side pieces.
Put on a cutting board, let rest for 10 minutes then cut in slices.
Serve with a salad, or air fried potatoes.
Bonita’s Tip:
Use your favourite cheese for the filling and top.
Cheese filling is very HOT and will ooze from the centre when first sliced.
Use less fat bacon to have less oil.
