I guess I could start by telling you that everyone knows that deep fried foods are not good for you, but anything in moderation is ok for anyone.
So haven said that!
I'm going to sell you on this amazing beer battered cod recipe, made with the prefect amount of seasonings and deep fried for a few minutes on a high temperature then left to rest for another few minutes before serving....
You can use a light beer or a dark beer the only thing makes a difference is the beer would need to frizz when you pour it in the mixture of ingredients. You can use the full can or half and then some water, it is up to you.
You also can make your seasonings and flour in advance and keep in a ziplock bag and put in your fridge until you are ready to add in all of the wet ingredients.
