BREAKFAST BURGER

If you are wondering what a BREAKFAST BURGER is I will share my recipe with you, plus we have a video here as well for you to enjoy. This delicious breakfast burger can be for breakfast of course, dinner and supper. I have the recipe posted below and the method, I will share with you now a few pictures to check out and of course you can always watch our video for more clearer instructions.
There is so many different types of breakfast ideas but this one is our favourite and sometimes we make this for our supper and have oven baked fry's with them. 🙂 SO TASTY!

Ingredients
- PATTIES:
- Pork sausage - 1 - 500g pack
- Stale Bread - 1/4 cup
- Onion - 1 medium grated
- Sea salt - 1/2 tsp
- Pepper - 1/2 tsp
- Thyme - 1/2 tsp
- Onion Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Maple syrup - 1 tbsp
- OTHER INGREDIENTS:
- Eggs - 2 large
- Sesame seed buns - 2 each
- Cheese - 2 slices or more
- Mushrooms - 5 each fresh
- Onion - 1 Small, cut in rings
- Pepper - as needed
- Sea salt - as needed
- Thyme - 1/2 tsp
- Flour - 2 tbsp
- Onion Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Bacon - 2 slices or more
- Butter - as needed
Instructions
In a bowl add ground pork sausage, stale bread crumbs, sea salt, pepper, thyme, grated onion, maple syrup and onion powder, folding them together with a wooden spoon until all combine but not over mixed.
After done cut with your hand four or more patties, keeping all of them the same size. Depending on how big you like to have your patties.
Then shape into round flat patties, place on a plate after all done cover and put in the fridge until 1/2 hour before you are ready to grill them, remove from fridge to rest at room temperature before you grill.
When ready to grill indoors or out, hot the gill first before placing the patties on the grill, light oil grill.
Place all patties on the grill depending on the size of your grill don’t over croud grill, let patties grill for 5 to 7 minutes on each side depending on the size.
If the patties got nice grilled marks on each side and is clear juice starting to release they are done, depending if you like them rear, medium, well done.
Remove them from grill cover with a lid or foil wrap, turn off heat.
METHOD FOR EVERYTHING ELSE:
Fry eggs sunny side up, toast sesame buns, fry mushrooms and onions until caramelized with some sea salt and pepper, top with cheese of choice. Roll bacon in flour, pepper, thyme and onion powder you can use a bag or bowl. Now dress your breakfast pork sausage burger.
Toasted sesame seed buns, top with mayo, mustard and relish, mushrooms and onions, then pork patty, and then top with fried egg, enjoy.
Side of hash browns, beans or fruit.
Sometimes its hard to know what to make for breakfast or any meal for that matter, I love to know what I’m going to make the day before so I’m prepared for the next meal.
Sounds funny I know!
