CHEESE TEA BUNS

If you are looking for a tasty tea bun recipe that is so tasty and easy to make you are in the right place.
This recipe got a few simple ingredients, it also got lots of cheese all through the bun.
Shredded cheese is one of the ingredients in our recipe but you can use a cheese of choice, I always say use what cheese you like eating.
Mix flour, sugar, sea salt and baking powder in a bowl and toss together, top with cold butter or margarine and pinch together.
Add one egg and evaporated milk in a bowl and mix together, toss in with dry ingredients and add shredded cheese and mix together.....
After crack a egg in a small bowl and mix together, brush over tea buns.

Ingredients
- All- purpose flour - 2 cups
- Sugar - ¼ cup
- Butter or margarine - ½ cup, cold
- Sea salt - ½ tsp
- Evaporated Milk or Fresh - ½ cup
- Baking powder - 4 tsp
- Eggs - 2 each
- Shredded - 1 cup
Instructions
Mix all dry ingredients into a bowl, then add pieces of cold butter and mix well together.
Mix one large egg and milk together in another bowl, add to mixture working it in with your hand or mixer until almost into a ball. Add cheese continue mixing.
Continue forming into a ball then put out onto a floured counter top, pinch of pieces all the same size.
Place on a greased cookie pan or with parchment paper, in a small bowl crack one large egg and whisk together and brush the top of the buns.
Then place in a pre-heated oven of 375ºF for 15 minutes or until light golden brown.
Once baking is complete, remove from oven put on a serving plate eat hot or cold with butter and homemade jam.
