This recipe for old fashion pancakes are a meal for 4 to 6 people depending on how many you like, they make 6 large pancakes or 12 small. Ingredients
- White Flour - 1 1/2 cups, sifted twice
- Baking powder - 3 tsp
- White sugar - 2 tsp
- Egg - 1 large
- Evaporated Milk or Fresh - 1 cup
- Butter - 1 tbsp, melted, and extra for frying
- Vanilla extract - 1/2 tsp
- Sea salt - 1/4 tsp
Instructions
- In a large bowl sift all dry ingredients twice.
- Then in a small bowl crack egg and lightly beat and add to melt butter room temp.
- Add evaporated milk and vanilla mix together, then add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and fold together.
- In a frying pan of choice add a small amount of butter and place on a hot stove top, medium heat.
- Scoop a small amount of batter and let fry 2 to 3 minutes until golden brown, then flip over and fry the same on the other side.
- Serve with Blueberry Syrup or MAPLE SYRUP or syrup of choice.
- Serve with fried sausage, bacon or hash browns.
