Raymond's Pizza Sandwich
Hi and welcome to my website!
I'm so excited to bring this pizza sandwich to you and it have been a long time coming, my husband Raymond have been making this sandwich for over 40 years. I can remember back in the 80's we didn't have access to pizza places in our community, this was our comfort food when we had movie night and date night. The key to a prefect pizza sandwich is homemade bread, but if you haven't got access to that you can use store bought. I will share with you a few pictures and my video for you to enjoy and follow along to make your own pizza sandwich.
If you are looking to save money and have a delicious snack idea, well look no further. This pizza sandwich will be your favourite go to snack after you made it one time.
This is not a lot of work but you can make it a fun night by having a few guest over and everyone helps to make them by chopping up the veggies and having a nice glass of wine.
I'm going to share with you a link to my cookbook with a few of our delicious recipes for you to enjoy. https://www.bonitaskitchen.com/cookbook

You got to love when you get to enjoy a good book or a glass of wine while your family is making supper or any meal of that day. 🙂 Now back to my husbands fancy pizza sandwiches, he like to butter the bottom of the bread and of course his favourite bread is homemade. You can use whatever type of bread you have in your kitchen or I will share my recipe for homemade white bread.

***I may be posting in wrong location, however yesterday I made the Newfoundland Seafood Chowder recipe using available ingredients, Smoked bacon instead of salt pork, fresh frozen cod instead of salted. I then added frozen shrimp, a can of crab & a can of baby clams. The results were awesome. The best part is, we still have leftovers!! Thanks so much for your easy to follow video and allowing me to make ingredient adjustments. Fabulous.

***Thursday for supper we had Raymond’s pizza. I thank Raymond for sharing his tasty recipe & you for posting it. As with the chowder I took some artistic freedom with available ingredients by using Texas Garlic Toast slices, I skipped the bacon, & the tomato. I did use the other ingredients & my wife, daughter & I totally enjoyed it with a kale salad. I am not a cook but enjoy trying new recipes especially Newfoundland cooking. I was born in Isle Valen, Placentia Bay.
Hi Ernie: You are very welcome and thank you for your message and for visiting our website and channel, I’m so glad you enjoying our recipes and as a fellow Newfoundlander its nice to have a little taste of home no matter where you live. I posted a video a few months ago for deep fried calamari and the video was inspired by a food truck in Lewisporte called chelsea”s fish & Chips located on the road to Isles, I’m not sure if you know about this place. But they make the best Calamari and I did a video of it if you like to check it out. You can find it on this website, thank you once again for your lovely message, and for enjoying my recipes. 🙂 Bonita
