Sharpening your Knife's
Hi welcome to my website and thank you for stopping by, I have a video tutorial and some simple steps on how to sharpen your knife's. Caring for your knife set is just as important as cooking, if you are using a dull knife you are more likely to cut yourself.
- Keeping your knife's in a wooden block when not in use.
- Sharpening your knife's after you use them or before you use them.
- Hand clean with soapy water, not in a dish washer.
- Dry your knife's set good so they don't tarnish.
- NEVER" try to chat a falling knife and try to jump away.
- Keep your knife set out of reach from children.
- Sharpen knife's by using a steel, that should come with your knife set.
- Keep the steel outwards and fingers behind notch to keep fingers safe while sharpening.
- After your fingers are behind notch, slide knife towards notch and turn the knife the other way and push knife away using the same sliding movement.
- After sharpening knife's clean lightly with soapy water, then drying good, place back into the knife block.
I'm going to share with you a link to my cookbook just incase you would like to check it out.
