Is made with a few simple ingredient's and will be prefect for your next family event!!
This dessert is started with a graham crumb base, flattened to the bottom of a 8 inch square pan.
Baked in a 325ºf oven for 7 to 8 minutes.
Frozen strawberries, jello and gelatin.
This is a delicious dessert and one you will make often, if you are looking for a prefect dessert for a family event or pot luck!!

Ingredients
- Graham cracker crumbs - 2 cups
- Melted margarine or butter - ½ cup
- Strawberries - 2 or 3 cups, frozen or fresh
- Strawberry jello powder - 1(85g) pack
- Gelatin - 1(15ml) envelop
- Hot Water - 3/4 cup
- Cold Water - ¼ cup
- Sugar - 2 tsp
- Dream whip - 1 pack
- Milk - ½ cup
- Vanilla extract - ½ tsp
Instructions
Scoop up two cups frozen strawberries and sit aside in a bowl to thaw.
Then open a package of strawberry jello dissolved in 3/4 cup of boiling water.
Open a pack of gelatin and dissolve in ¼ cup cold water.
In a saucepan on a medium stovetop heat, mix together step B ingredients and heat to almost boiling stirring to dissolve gelatin and sugar.
Remove from the heat, pour into a bowl and let cool to a jelly consistency at room temperature in a cooler room then the kitchen ( not in the fridge at this stage) then spread over graham base.
In a bowl, add full envelop of dream whip powder, following the package for mixing information, then spread over top of the strawberry filling. Then put in the fridge, let set over night or a few hours before cutting into large squares.
Viewers Tips:
Use frozen strawberries and let thaw.
Use dream whip if available for original taste or replace with whipped cream or cool whip.
Keep in refrigerator until all eaten.
Use a cold bowl for mixing the dream whip, by putting the bowl in the fridge for one hour before using.

Dear Bonita and Raymond,
I have a garden with strawberries that are just delightful! This looks like a delicious recipe. I think my mother had jello, Knox gelatin and dream whip in her pantry 60 years ago.
