I don't like waste in this day in age where food is plentiful and so many people don't have access to fresh and accessible food. So way waste it, I have a recipe and video here you can follow to bottle some apple wedges. Plus I have a recipe on how to open the bottled sweet apple wedges and turn into a delicious dessert.

Where do I start, you can use any type of apples for this recipe because its not about the apples its about the method. Peel and wedge your apples of choice and toss in a bowl and top with lemon juice to help keep the from browning and the flavour with a citrus base. Then get your saucepan ready with half full of water, start to boil and add apple wedges and sea salt to part boil your apples.
EASY STEPS TO BOTTLED SWEET APPLE WEDGES
I hope you ready to make your own bottled sweet apple wedges, they are lovely for a rainy day when you are just looking for the prefect dessert or comfort food. No fuss and no mess just open the bottle have them just like that or pop into a saucepan and mix in 1 tbsp of cornstarch and let come to a boil. Serve hot or cold make a apple pie, apple crisps or apple crumble, whatever you wish.

Ingredients
- Apples - 6 to 8 cups or more
- Brown sugar - 1 cup
- Cinnamon - 1 tsp
- Nutmeg - 1/8 tsp
- Sea salt - 1/2 tsp
- Lemon Juice - 1/2 lemon or more
- Water - 2 cups, plus water to boil apples
- Apple juice - 1 cup less sugar

Method:
Sterilization:
1. Start by getting a large boiler and filling in about quarter full of water.
2. Then starting the water to a boil and placing your Mason jars inside then cover.
3. After let the pot boil for about 15-20 then remove your bottles and place them on paper towels or a cloth.
Canning Procedures:
1. After your food items are cooked and ready to bottle, scoop hot liquid and put inside your Mason jars.
2. Continue doing this until all bottles are complete and leaving 1/2 inch on top.
3. Clean around the top of your bottles removing any food of rims.
4. Then place caps and lids on your jars and tighten.
5. Then place your jars back in hot water bath and start the boil for another 5 to 10 minutes with the cover on boiler.
6. Leave at room temperature then check your lids, 3 ways.
1. Remove screw cap and lightly run your finger upwards on the lid if it don't remove its sealed, put the screw cap back on tight and date/label each bottle. Then store in cool panty or room.
2. If the lid is not popped up when you touch the middle it means its sealed.
3. If you heard all your jars pop by counting the pops it is seal.
