You can us any type of raisins and molasses, I'm using a fancy molasses for this recipe but you can use a light or dark.
Only a few simple ingredients to make this recipe and it can be layered with the wet ingredients at the bottom and the dry ingredients at the top....leaving the yeast for the very last ingredient.

Bread makers is a kitchen helper, if you only need one loaf of bread or just looking for a ball of dough. It's quick and easy to do and you also can have a loaf of bread waiting for you at the end of your work day.
Sometimes your bread maker got a stage to add the extra, like raisins. You can follow that or after the dough is mixed then add in your raisins.

Ingredients
- Water - 1¼ cups, warm
- Molasses - ¼ cup
- Baking soda - ¼ tsp
- Butter or margarine - 2 tsp, melted
- Vanilla extract - ¼ tsp
- Sea salt - ¼ tsp
- Brown sugar - ¼ cup, packed
- Ground cinnamon - 1 tsp
- Ground cloves - ¼ tsp
- All-purpose flour - 3¼ cups, extra for dusting
- Dried Yeast - 1½ tsp, traditional, fast rising
- Raisins - ½ to 1 cup
Instructions
Recipe: (One Loaf only)
Method:
In BM bowl add, warm water, molasses, baking soda, vanilla, melted butter, next add sea salt, brown sugar, ground cinnamon and ground cloves.
Then add your White or Wheat all purpose flour and yeast on top.
Next turn your Bread Maker on to it regular setting for making a loaf of bread. Let BM mix the ingredients and “if you need to add more warm water just add a little at the mixing stage.”
When all ingredients are mixed together, add your raisins. Usually the BM got a setting that lets you know when to add other ingredients. If not just add it after all the ingredients are mixed and turned into a dough ball.
The BM will then mix the raisins in during its kneading stage. Now sit back with a book and let your BM do all the work and even bake it for you.
