Traditional Newfoundland Sausage Crown
Hi and welcome to my website, thank you for stopping by and enjoy this recipe and video for SAUSAGE CROWN.
I found this recipe in a old Newfoundland cookbook that had no cover because it was so old and worn, it was very interesting to me so I thought what if I give it a try and then video it to see if it would work out.
Maybe there is someone out there that remembers your mom or grandma making this recipe, if so send me a message telling us your story of this recipe. I try to get to as many suggested recipes as possible and a few recipes I grown up with and then some that I've found in old Newfoundland cookbooks.
These are a few more recipes that have sausage in them you may like to try.

I’m always weary about trying a new recipe from a cookbook that got no pictures and the recipe is partly wrote, of course you need to use your imagination on how to create this recipe. I also don’t like to throw out food, so I need to do my research on what Traditional Newfoundland recipes are the best ones to try.
I don’t have a budget for Bonita’s kitchen so whatever I cook on the show becomes our meal for supper, or I give it to my Mom, family, friends and Neighbors. This way I don’t have any waste and I feel good about sharing with other people, it is very important that when I found a recipe I make sure it is going to work the first time.
“Some people can read a recipe and just make it, I’m all about the visual recipe seeing pictures, having step by step instructions. This is why I enjoy working on Bonita’s kitchen I can show you from start to finish how this recipe is made, and every recipe I share with you on my website or Facebook page have been tried by me personally and not just shared to get ratings.”
Over these last three years working on Bonita’s kitchen I have replaced my oven, microwave, blenders, knife sets, bowls and plates, wardrobe exc. all for the love of sharing our love for Traditional Newfoundland Cooking with you and your family. So I do thank each and everyone that have read, liked, shared, commented on over 80 videos and recipes and also that have purchased my new cookbook.
