If you are looking for a tasty recipe for homemade turkey sausage, you are in the right place....
Ground lean turkey is the main ingredient, fennel seeds, freshly grated black pepper, sea salt, onion powder and garlic powder or freshly grated.
Ground the seasonings together and add to the bowl with your ground lean turkey!!
Cover the bowl with clear wrap or a lid to store in the fridge for overnight to build those flavours. The next day fry all of them any size you like or golf ball or ping pong size patties.

Ingredients
- Ground turkey - 1 pound, more if needed
- Fennel seeds - 1 tsp, ground
- Garlic Powder - ½ tsp, or fresh garlic
- Onion Powder - ½ tsp
- Sea salt - ¼ tsp
- Black pepper - ½ tsp, freshly grated
Instructions
Crush the fennel seeds.
Then add to a bowl with the ground turkey, garlic, onion powder and sea salt, fold together until all ingredient’s are combine. ( don’t over mix )
Cover with clear wrap or lid and put in fridge to refrigerate overnight.
Next day, divide the seasoned turkey into portions about the size of a ping-pong ball and flatten into patties to cook.
Cook over medium heat in a non-stick pan or cast iron pan until browned. About 1 to 2 minutes pre side.
Serve with fried eggs or breakfast sandwich.
Bonita’s Tips:
Prepare all seasoned turkey and separate with pieces of parchment paper to freeze in freezer bags or cook at the one time and serve or freeze to reheat.
Use fresh graded garlic or garlic powder.
After you scooped up the size of mixture you like to make a flat sausage with, put into a hot frying pan or grill. Shape the patty before by hand or just flatten it with your spatula when in the pan.
Brunch is ready!!!
