Ingredients
- Turnip ( Rutabaga ) - 4 or 5 medium
- Butter - 2 Tbsp
- Eggs - 2 large
- Stale Bread Crumbs - 2 cups
- Brown sugar - 2 tbsp
- Nutmeg - 1/8 tsp
- Black or White Pepper - 1/2 tsp
- Sea salt - 1/2 tsp
- Onion - 1 medium

I hope I’ve convinced you to make our recipe today, this is a lovely quick and easy baked turnip casserole and if you like turnips you will love this turnip casserole. I love having turnips mashed with just salt and pepper and a little butter, having this tasty choice is really nice. Cook your turnips first until fork tender and then while its boiling add one onion and 1/2 tsp of sea salt to season your turnips.
These turnips was grown local from our farmers, every time i’m making a recipe I try to get all fresh ingredients from our local farmers or fisherman. My dad was a local organic farmer years ago and his vegetables was amazing, everyone that lived in our community would be waiting until Saturday when we would be selling vegetables.
